Hahaha YES i got the $50 la mer lip balm on impulse during an emotionally fueled shopping spree only to realize i bought scented petroleum.. were u implying they also use mineral oil in their products..????

Really vaseline? Do you know the genetic name for it? Not putting gas on my face. At least use infinity cream by Josie Maran better ingredients and good for the skin

  3. Chrissy
    Chrissy says:

I have used vasaline around my eyes when everything else burned because my skin mantle was so hurt. Have you watched Dr. Dray? She is very straight forward, educational, and adorable like you. I really appreciated this video! I'm looking forward to your vit c video. would you do one comparing AHA and BHA products (peels, serums, washes, etc) and ranking which are your favorite? Thank you ❤

I am 54 years young. I have bags under my eyes, which cant stand. I'm starting to see wrinkles, which i cant stand either. Would love to hear what you would suggest for my situation… Thank you!

I’m in my early 30s now and really starting to try and care about my skin. I’ve always had dry skin and I have never found a routine that really helps. All your skin care videos have really given me thought and insight. So thank you. 🙏🏼

Good luck to everyone entering the giveaway. 🍀💐

Wow, lotta stuff to unpack here! I give you credit for keeping up with the Vitamin C. I have so many products going on something usually gets left out (and it's usually the Vit C.) I have pretty good skin, but honestly, since I hit my 30s, the skin on my chin feels rough. I don't know why. It doesn't LOOK rough. I can just FEEL it. So aside from sandpaper (and don't think that hasn't crossed my mind), what's the most intensive detexurizing product you can think of?

I love retinols so much. And micelar water is MAGICAL. and pixi glow tonic aaaaah. applause Glad I'm not a hot mess in this dept lol. Do you have any recommendations for getting rid of blackheads/sebum? I know, I knooooowwwwww the debates about how sebum Isn't That Bad but on my nose it *is*, like I can't even put foundation on my nose or it'll just look like hoards of little white dots as the foundation snags on every single frickin thing aldsfjalsdf. And some skincare reviewers are like "pff if you're just exfoliating regularly you won't have a problem" well thanks Carol, that's helpful. lol ANYWAY. I've been reading a lot of reviews but of course they're all for like $30 products, and even the ones that are more like $12…. I can't just buy 5 $12 products. :/

Active charcoal I know, but I've used the origin mask and it didn't…… really help with blackhead/sebum. Helped the rest of my face, though! There are a lot of peel-off products (Boscia is recommended?) but omggg you hear horror stories about those ripping the flesh from your face. I used those Biore strips for years but they are SO HARSH and don't get everything. sigh. I've heard good things about this "silver powder" from Mario whatever, but it has three ingredients and one of them is just a nothing powder -_- And I'm suspicious of how a powder is going to do any good.

    n e wayz

TL;DR – do you have any suggestions or opinions on getting rid of and reducing sebum/blackheads?

Love your channel. You introduced me to snail mucin and I love it! I have oily skin that loves sulfur and niacinamide. Took me a long time to figure those 2 specific ingredients out!

I happen to love Alice’s videos. Whoever is the Ahole , trashing every single video. Please F off I trust Alice that’s why I watch the skin care reviews. Plz don’t stop doing this Alice I know it’s easy for me to say , when I’m not the one being trashed and put down. I’m a very sensitive person so I would be a crying mess. So whoever you are Ahole leave my White rabbit alone. I refer tonAlice that way due to loving her and the song.

    Liz Torres says:

Well, I have acne prone, oily skin. I also have very bad dark under eye circles. A lot of acne scars all over my face. I like moisturizers with ceramides. I like my sunscreens to be thin as in watery, gel like, or lotiony. Greasy sunscreen is the stuff of nightmares. 🙂

  12. Liz Torres
    Liz Torres says:

I have a bazillion micellar waters from trying to find..the best. And for face cleansing in the morning the bioderma and garnier ones with the pink cap are fine and so is the neutrogena one from the hydroboost line. It's a morning cleanse. You dont need muscle, and these are all gentle.

    Alexa Zaza says:

Couldn't agree with you more about vitamin C treatments and serums! I love your candidness and how you explain the ingredients. I'm still on the hunt for the best treatments for reducing pores and reddness in that T-zone. Thank you so much for doing these videos 💖

  14. J Helton
    J Helton says:

Absolutely love this youtuber! Sometimes there are products that work differently on my skin than they do Alice's but, she helps out with that. She always mentions which ones would work better for different skin types. Alice has helped inspire me to make better skincare purchases

I really need your help. I am 46 years old and my skin is a mess from not taking care of it over the years. But now after watching you,I believe I can get it back !!! My issue is I don't know what order to apply the products and what to use at night and day. Please help!!😱😱

  16. Annalisa
    Annalisa says:

I have combo skin, oily t zone and dry everywhere else, I also have quite a bit of redness and some large pores. Thanks for doing honest skincare reviews. After years of not really caring about my skin as a teen and in my early 20s, I finally began to researching ingredients and look into products that meet my skincare needs. I’m still learning and watching your videos has really helped.

  17. Rebecca Darling
    Rebecca Darling says:

I have oily and (sigh) mature skin, so we don’t have a lot of product crossover but we do have a lot of intellectual curiosity crossover!
I have insomnia too and my “favorite” is ‘be more active during the day so that you’re tired at night’… jerk I AM tired and I CAN’T sleep!!!

  18. Kim M.
    Kim M. says:

Hi Alice – I have mature, dry skin that tends to get angry for no apparent reason. (Of course, there's a reason, but dang if I know what it is most of the time.) Enjoyed the Publix reference. 🙂 In other news, what is the Korean sunscreen(s?) you are enjoying. That's one thing I can switch around in my routine and my skin looks the other way and doesn't punish me. Thanks!

  19. candace keefer
    candace keefer says:

I have combo skin and belyeve as you do why spend a lot on cleansers…I use the cosrx low pH good morning gel cleanser(found a 2 pack on Amazon for $20) …and just want to say never be motivational ALWAYS stay sarcastic!!!! Love it👍👍👍

  20. Carmen Chan
    Carmen Chan says:

This was a really fun video to watch – next time please share a demotivational quote 😂😂😂 thanks for the reviews, love your 'swap' philosophy based on ingredients. I have normal-dry skin prone to whiteheads around the nose – mainly concerned with prevention as I am in my late 20s!

  21. Stephanie Stith
    Stephanie Stith says:

My 44 year old skin has changed so much in the last year. I've been on a quest to combat fine lines, dehydrated yet shiny in the t-zone, hormonal breakouts and overall healthy looking skin. I appreciate your honesty with your reviews and all the time and effort you put into skin care trials. 🤗

  22. Caroline Sears
    Caroline Sears says:

My skin is dry in my T-zone and I get bags under my eyes! The way you talk about skin care scientifically and objectively helps me step away from all the crazy brainwashing that advertisements push out.

  23. Lisa Smith

I came back and ordered the MB drying lotion with your link. I need some Sunday Riley CEO rapid flash serum too. So, your link made me do it!!! Lol. Have a nice evening…❌✖❌

I think I've finally figured out how to hydrate my skin properly through the seasons, but I have persistent acne scarring from years ago that I'm still struggling to combat. One thing at a time, I suppose! Thanks for your honest reviews and for testing ALL THE THINGS!
