This might sound like a stupid question but what does "3 night cycle" mean? Does that mean you just do Retinoid on the first night, AHA the second, Vitamin C the third night- and repeat? So basically all 3 are applied ~2 times per week?

Something that confuses me is why there is a need to use exfoliants while using Tretionin. Isn't tretionin considered to be the king of resurfacing? Since it is constantly pushing new cells to the surface. So why is there technically still a need to chemically exfoliate? I know many people's skin can tolerate it over time and I know many people do it- including myself. I guess I'm just wondering if it's necessary or still serves a functional purpose? I know AHA's can stimulate collagen production- so is that why? Obviously the Tretinoin stimulates collagen as well- but does using both maximize the collagen production? Like, do they both give this action separately?

Hey Michelle, I just found your channel and been binge watching your videos in hopes to educate myself and finding a skincare routine that actually works for me.
I just had a question in regards to your 3 night cycle of actives. What do exactly do you mean by a 3 night cycle? Do you use an active every 3 nights?

I really love how you apply your blush (bronzer?) it’s so flattering and lifting! And I agree with the more simplistic routine!

Loved seeing Biologique recharge p50 in your routine. It has transformed my skin on it own. Expensive but lasts a long time 👍

Are those two Milia under your right eye? I'm just curious as I've struggled with similar under eyes and just creams etc. haven't seemed to help.

besides the point of the video i have to say this makeup color palette is so pretty on you! like the smokey cool-toned brown + muted coral blush and lips with your hair color and skin tone is just perfect

I adore that Neutrogena Ultra Gentle cleanser! I have normal to dry skin so I prefer the cream formula over the foaming one, but I keep the foaming one on hand for when I feel the need for a foam cleaner! I also love the pump. It’s perfect for in the shower. Plus the bottles last forever which is always a plus 💕

    Hi Michelle 👋🏼
Do u know another night cream similar ingredients & effectiveness to Kate Ryan’s one, here in Australia? I’m just starting with a skincare routine and I’m looking to add a good night cream with retinol. Thanks a lot!

Thank you for your videos! I have a question though regarding toner. Should I include it in my skincare routine? If yes, AM or PM? In the evening, I am using (mild) Lactic acid for exfoliation, should I use toner as well? Thank you in advance for any help and advice! You are really great

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION!!!! That YTTP cleanser is Wayyy overpriced. It’s the most I’ve spent on a skincare product and felt like it was nothing special at all, won’t purchase again or recommend to anyone 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi Michelle! Can you please tell me how I can alternative my Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 – Retinol and Vit C? Should I use my Vit C in the morning and alternate between the retinol and BRp50 at night? Thank you! xx

I LOVE your content. I would be very curious what your thoughts are on the philosophy on the founder of OUMERE product line. Her take aligns with mine but I am not a scientist ..

I have found that Cerave's Hydrating cleanser is the only 2nd cleanser I need. I have tried other supposedly gentle cleansers from the drugstore when I couldn't get my hands on my fav (from Simple, Neutrogena and Aveeno) and they irritate my skin. I am still a bit on the hunt for my go to, cheap 1st cleanser (oil or balm). I only do fragrance and essential oil free so my options are a bit limited. Been using the balm from albolene because it is cheap and fragrance free but it is not my fav (it is hard to remove from the skin and it is in jar – like you, I don't love jars). Sadly, I can't easily get the fragrance free body oil from neutrogena that dr dray mentioned in Canada. The hunt continues!

i think including your skincare routine can be beneficial if you’re providing information on your skincare type, condition and other assessments. i think it could still help ppl figure out what they might also be dealing with similarly. i was able to determine what i was suffering with through ppl who shared their trials and tribulations and what they had trouble dealing with as well

I also think the Budget and skin condition of people are different, but for me it's nice to understand the base of your skincare, cause we're quite similar haha, I have combination skin, PIH prone, and acne prone, just not prone to dehydration, and is quite similar our way of thinking about actives, I use tretinoin, it fades hyperpigmentation and smoothes the skin, but doesn't really treat whiteheads, like AHA, but for me benzoyl peroxide works well for it, I think both are great, and alternating is important to not have much irritation, also moisturizer, really important cause it helps the skin having a good environment to heal (Sunscreen too!), And after all, last but not least, to enjoy your skincare, it's a time that you take care of you. Thank you, thank you, I love your content cause there's so scientific research, what I also do, I love to watch you, as you I think I'm a skincare nerd hahaha.
