In today’s video I just wanted to share my experience with the Kenzii at-home laser just in case anyone was either in a similar situation, or to help someone avoid the situation all together. I’ve been dealing with the effects since March of this year. Yes, I got 1st degree burns from the device. Would love to hear your experience in the comment section below and the products you’ve been using to clear up the marks. The concept was great, but the instructions should be more direct for certain skin types. Don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe to the channel for more reviews and content 🙂

Enough with the comments on what I should’ve done. I followed what was given to me and the damage is already done. I’m just spreading awareness on what could happen.

The marks you had on your legs are similar to a mark i had on my chin when i went to SKIN clinics. Its taken a few years for the burn marks to fade. Never went back. Wow can't believe this happened to you, thanks for sharing.

I don't understand why some companies don't market to people that have darker skin. And they should make it safe for all skin types and skin tones.

I wanted laser removal but I read that the laser just targets “dark pigment” so for brown/black skin it starts having trouble distinguishing between the hair and the skin and causes hyperpigmentation 🥴 after seeing your honest review, I might try an epilator instead🧘🏽‍♀️I’m so sorry this happened to you! I work for a vegan black owned skincare brand called Nolaskinsentials if you are looking for any hyperpigmentation products 💜💜

I'm sorry that happened to you but I Thank You So Much for sharing and thank GOD your legs is clearing up. I purchased a home laser removal
8 years ago and I forgot the name of it but it burned my bikini area. I kept going over the hair and it smelled like
burnt hair. My skin burned more and little hair removal. These products is not designed for African Americans. So I see this Kenzzi does the same.

All you ladies who got burns were using it at very high levels. They really need to change the instructions. Us women of color should stick to level 3 or under. I think you can reverse the scarring by using niacinamide, vitamin c and hydroquinone. But it will be a slow process. Sorry this happened.

Sorry that this happened to you. Thank you for sharing this information. Hoping that the scars clear so that they are unnoticeable. I would really like to use a product like this, but I'm aware (now more than ever) that it is a risk on melanin-enriched skin. 🙁

Omgg I was really considering buying this… now I’m backing off 💀 use tumeric paste on ur legs for the hyperpigmentation. Apply it with a brush- it’s easier. I’m sure it’ll work wonders. Thanks for the info love❤️

Wow for a handheld it’s pretty strong pulse. I’m sorry this happens to you. But as an esthetician they always warn us doing on a darker skin tone. Level one on a professional ipl. We always do a 24 hrs skin patch. You can sue if they did not warn you.

omg I’m sorry girl 😣 I just saw Dr. Dray’s video review on this before yours and she said that it wasn’t made for black skin and this could happen. wish you could’ve seen that video before attempting this! I hope the scars have faded by now

You're so beautiful and I'm so sorry this happened to you. I read that this wasn't good for darker skin and my skin is so sensitive I didn't even want to take a chance. I decided to look at some YouTube videos and you definitely confirm this for me
