I appreciate how bare and natural you were trying to be despite how uncomfortable it must have been. Your generosity in sharing your personal skin care routine was heartwarming. Thank you for introducing me to products I can read up on to hopefully include in my own routine which I have been trying to make as natural or healthy as possible without breaking the bank. Hopefully some of these products aren't too expensive for me to try.

This is to everyone who couldn't resist finding something to criticize; Sometimes we buy stuff but it doesn't quite work with our skin and it ends up on a shelf. We don't throw it away because we don't want to waste it and hope we can find a use for it or maybe someone will want it. Also, if she's using mostly natural products, they probably aren't as unstable as, say, vitamin C serums. Not all skincare products have a short shelf life, especially oils. I've bought stuff to try and ended up not using it because it just didn't work for me or my skin had a bad reaction, but I kept it for years because I had no one to give it to and I felt throwing it away would be wasteful. I just can't help squirming at some of these holier-than-thou comments from people scrutinizing her shelf and assuming she's wasteful. Quit looking for stuff to nitpick and critique. It's her shelf not yours, you do what you want in your house and let her live her life however she wants. It's none of your business of she's wasteful or not wasteful. And you aren't her, you don't know her life, why she has these products or what she's doing or not doing with them. For all you know, most of that stuff could've been gifted by friends or companies to try. I don't know, but neither do you. Enjoy her generous video, where she invites you to her home and shares her skin-care routine with you. Appreciate this very intimate gift. Don't insult your host by criticizing her home or her personal habits. Her stuff, her life, mind your own shelves.

Hey Alanis. I know you might not see it but the alcohol based scrub you use, substitute it with The body shop’s drops of youth youth liquid peel. I use it and it literally scrubs off the dead skin cells and is god sent!

Is someone gonna tell her squeaky skin means it's stripped of natural oils and moisture and causes wrinkles and acne 🤪

Such a force of nature! I love her robe and the ones hanging behind her! I personally can't use that many products with fragrances because they irrate my skin without a benefit, but I love seeing her smelling product and enjoying the process of taking care of ones self.

Technically, I only use one product on my face day and that is a cleanser that I use in the morning and before bed.

Occasionally, I have a skin moisturizer with FPS. I might do a clay mask a couple times a year. Also I have a acne spot remover that I use when I have a significant pimple. And I have a lip balm that I use when my lips are dry.

But after I watching this video I want to get a face scrub I can use once a month and essence/oil that I can use daily.
