This video is a review of my affordable SPF collection. I compare all of my drugstore sunscreens and talk through their different attributes like: Broad Spectrum, UVA & UVB Protection, SPF Value, Mineral, Chemical, or Mineral Chemical Filter Blend, Active Ingredients (Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide), Untinted SPF, Tinted SPF (Iron Oxides), white cast, consistency (light weight, thick, smooth, liquidy), how they feel on oily, sensitive, acne prone skin, fragrance free claims, and more. If you are trying to figure out the best drugstore SPF options for you that won’t cause breakouts, won’t clog pores (are noncomedogenic), won’t leave a white cast on the skin, are lightweight, and provide adequate anti-aging protection from sun damage in order to prevent fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sun spots, melasma, crows feet, and more, this is the perfect video for you!

Loved this video!! I bought the cerave tinted sunscreen and tried it for the first time today! I really like it but it’s too dark for my skin tone! I mixed it with a plain mineral sunscreen to lighten the color up a bit and it worked great!!

Have you tried the Bare Republic new face gel-lotion? I have been using the Australian gold tinted but my oily skin seems to eat through it so I’m having to fight the oil by 10 o’clock plus i noticed that like you said I’m not using as much as I should be. I have had good luck with water/gel like moisturizer so didn’t know it that might be similar. Love your videos I just found your channel!

You mentioned that for the Australian Gold your wear a layer of un-tinted spf below it – could I sub that un-tinted with a 30 spf moisturizer instead? Or would that not be as effective?

a really good one is purito centella green level unscented sunscreen, it has no white cast, reef safe, light weight, broad spectrum, and essential oil free and only $14 on amazon 🤍

ahhh ok i'm confused. if you can't use a chemical sunscreen on it's own, can you use a mineral on it's own? should you always have a blend of the two? also, what sunscreen do you use around your eyes?

also thanks for the video! i'm a new subscriber and loving your vids so far!

As a guy its a pain to find a proper sunscreen (or i prefer moisturizer with SPF) because we dont use makeup, therefor cant cover up the SPF… Especially if you dont want to spend a lot on it…

What are your thoughts on the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Mist-SPF 55? Would it be good to layer over the Cetaphil tinted sunscreen? Thanks for the video!!

Abbey do you wear a moisturizer underneath these or any of your sunscreens or do you just put them on top of your morning serums? (If u use serums)

A really good drugstore spf is coppertone pure and simple face and body the white cast isn’t that bad, high percentage of zinc only, there’s green tea, and its water resistant

I’ve been extra diligent with my sunscreen, so I always appreciate more knowledge on the matter! My big concern is reapplying sunscreen throughout the day while wearing a full face of makeup. Do you have any tips or product recommendations for that?
