Risa–I had never tried a peachy blush but in all of your videos, you talk about peachy blushes. I finally decided to try the Maybelline cheek heat in a peachy tone–that way if I didn't like it, I was only out $5 or so. OMG!!! The peachy tone really warmed up my complexion! I am 52 and have always worn pinks. So happy with the peachy color–it looks so fresh and bright! Thank you 🙂

Hi Risa, I did enjoy this video more than I thought. These tips are not only good for going out, but to be camera ready if you make videos! What great ideas! I do paint my nails, but noticed that I would need to film and my polish would be flaking off. The press on nails are a perfect hack for me! Thank you. I am going to try them when I don't have time to go through all of the coats of polish! I am also interested in the hair halo. I do have some hair thinning. If that works for me it will also be great for filming! I liked all of the tips you had here. I am an old school "panty hose" wearer. Lol. But I will try that body makeup to see if it works for me. I do love thinner tights with dresses though because I get so cold in my hands and feet. I think I mentioned to you before that I am a full time caregiver to my daughter who has a rare genetic syndrome. So I did go through a period of time where I was giving to her and others, but neglecting myself. But last year I started wearing makeup again, lost weight, and made my health a priority! (I did use to be judgmental of myself and others about wearing makeup.) I look back on it as a growth phase I went through to get me to where I am today. Today I don't see anything wrong with painting the barn. Lol.

Hi me being a mature lady and even having a chronic illness I always wash my hair daily and put on my makeup , yes I wear body blurr only in the summer but I wear pantyhose all from spring , autumn and winter , but it’s the British way we all wear pantyhose , however I have always taken care of my skin I spend my money more than makeup, but I only use high end makeup , and yes I wear press on nails but I glue them instead of using the adhesive patch , but just enjoy your evening !

I love enjoying a glass champagne while I pamper myself before for a nice evening out. There's nothing wrong with taking good care of yourself, I find it adds to the whole experience. Do you ever face mask or eye mask or do you find it makes your makeup not last as long? I'm on the dry side so I'm always looking for something that will plump my under eyes up.
