In this video I will try Makartt Press on Tips and will also show how it looked like after 3 weeks. I received many requests to try affordable Apres nails dupes, so here it goes!
Have you ever tried this brand or similar dupes?

Hey Guys have you ever come across a client who's polygel doesn't adhere because of their nail type but just keeps popping off or even when u try acrylic it only lasts for 3 days before popping off too? What are your thoughts and recommendations?

I have apres dupes and I love them! I draw on them difficult designs and after they're done I use acrylic to apply them on myself. It's very useful specially when doing my right hand 💜 I bought them on AliExpress

I tried the dupe with the same makartt tips. I cut them down to make them shorter because I prefer a shorter nail being a house wife lol. So far they are holding great. I used a thick jewelry gel instead of builder. I also did 2 to 3 coats of color and 2 coats of top coat. This helps with strength they say. They look great to me. Of course I don't have a small lamp so flash curing was a bit of a struggle. I have clips from my dual forms I used but having such tiny fingers I had to use them lengthwise not sideways. Also tiny fingers means I had to shape some of the tips to fit better as they were too wide for my nail plate. Other than that I had blast doing this dupe.

Can you make another polygel tutorial on yourself or your clients ? Also if you do the video could you do a detailed explanation of why the tip of the nail is thick ? I know that you already did some but i would Love if you did others 💕

Don't know if this will help, but I thought I'd share my observations and experience. I have a metallic gel polish like this from madam glam ( the color is called rose gold and it has been discontinued, but I think they've made new metallic gels). Anyways I remember when I first tried it, I couldn't get it to work. Then I ended up finding a video here on YouTube that helped. So apparently so called gel polishes like these have very low "gel ingredients" in them in order for them to maintain their metallic look. This means that while putting them under a nail lamp helps dry them faster, it doesn't fully "cure" them. You basically have to let them air dry for a couple of minutes and then top coat. Also in particular for the brand that I have, the instructions say for a top coat to be applied before applying the metallic color as it needs to have a completely smooth surface to adhere to in order to have a mirror like finish. Hope this helps someone 🙂

I have those Makartt nails but there isn't 1 big enough for my thumb so I never used them. I also have the 123go nails from enc (and none for my thumb) but tried them on my fingers…I had 1 break after 3 days

I bought my full cover tips from ali express and put it on with silcare builder gel, nothing on top as the full coffin tips are super strong. Had them on 5 weeks on Friday with no problems. Great video thanks for showing!

I haven’t tried any of the full coverage nails because I’ve seen such mixed reviews on them. I’m a little weary of investing my money, especially Apres, they’re very expensive. Great review though. Tfs Anastasia, you make me more confident about purchasing them

Can someone tell me if the Makartt tips are actually gel tips. I have them but I don’t consider them a dupe because I don’t think they are gel. Are they considered dupes because of the shape, the fact that they’re gel or because of the technique used to bond them??? What makes these dupes and not other brands? I’d love to know!!!! 😊😊😊😊 Anyone out there?????

I've used both Apres and Makartt tips. My nail beds are very flat so there was a lot of space between the nail bed and the inside of the tip. It was not very comfortable.
