I'm a male and about 40 years ago I wanted to shave my head to look like KOJAK, Telly Sevales. And no matter how much I shaved, it still kind of stubble like and not smooth. SOO, I went to Rite Aid, and bought Nair cream, I put it on my head for 5 minutes, it was burning so I tried to wash it off but it was To Late, my head burned for hours, then about a month went by, when I saw a man with a shiny bald head and I asked him how do u make your head shiny like yours, he said "I'm Bald", 😆😆

If only I knew this info years ago….I of course went to someone who didn’t tell me my olive skin was not a good candidate for IPL 😡. I went through all that pain for nothing not to mention wasted 💰. Live and learn and watch Dr. Dray!!!

Of all the procedures/products I've tried, laser is the one I am the most happy with. It's also the only hair removal I've tried that doesn't irritate my skin at all, and I feel like I've tried everything

I had quite a few laser hair removal treatments at a dermatology with alexandrite candella and at about the 5th treatment I had post inflammatory hyperpigmentation at my chin,my bikini and my underarms. It's really frustrating but the doctor told me it's something that can happen and that will go away. Could you please tell me what's your opinion on that and if you could suggest a cream or something else I could do? Thanks a lot in advance!

T-Tree oil used on the V.. Your opinion please
I've been using it for week or two can tell a difference. I'm light skinned brown 🚺. My V is little dark from shaving I'm guessing. Since been using the oil has got different look. 🙌🙌

I am a man, and my legs were very hairy, and my skin is very white. When I did 8 sections of laser hair removal on them, I get around 90% of the hairs completely removed, they don't even grow today after 3 years.

I got 3 treatments on my upper lip, hair grew back even worse and MORE
Not sure at what point, if it was prior or before I DID pluck some hair off. Was never told not to.. don’t know if the hair now is grown back as it is because of that or not… each session took 5 minutes or less and wasn’t given a numbing cream 🤔😟

I`m a bit confused: you mentioned that the use of Differin should be stopped before laser hair removal, but if I am not planning on removing hair on my face (only my legs), does it really matter? Thanks!

Omg for once in my life I'm so excited to have naturally very dark, thick hair and very light skin!!! My hair is so dark that I don't even like the look of my skin after shaving. I can literally see my follicle still just hanging out. It's like these little dark dots all over my legs that I can't get rid of.

What is more effective and long lasting? IPL (Alma harmony SHR) or laser (Candella Alexandra)? I'm very torn between where to go because of what they use. The laser is more expensive

Had laser hair removal in the early years (mid 2000's) by my dermatologist. About 6 or so treatments over a period of 2-3 years. It was a game changer. Extremely effective. I'd say that 95% of the hair never came back. Could not be happier. I have super sensitive skin, but I never had any reaction to any of the treatments (Gentlase was my favorite). I'm very fair w/medium brown hair.

I had laser hair removal treatment to remove my very dark, coarse neck and facial hair (I also have very light skin.) Not only did the treatment not work, it made things far worse. Where I once had just a few coarse hairs, I now have patches of them. I'm wondering if I should seek the advice of a true dermatologist since the place I went to was a "natural health center" whatever that means. It's hard for me to want to throw more money at this problem when the previous treatment didn't help. Any advice, Dr. Drey?
