Great review on the products! I have heard great things about the Tanwise products… lately I have been really drawn to the gradual tan moisturizers. I have been really enjoying the St. Tropez one that I got from Sephora and one that is called Ocean Potion Ever Glow that I got from Walmart. I use the St. Tropez one once a week and I use the Ever Glow one daily. I really love the color that is produces… Thanks for sharing your thoughts!!! 🙂

Great video, I've used both high end and drugstore tanners and I prefer the drugstore ones.  My favorite so far is the Banana Boat, I think it's pretty much idiot proof.  Thanks for the review and great tips. xoxo

Man! I was so excited to try the first one you mentioned. I have a sample coming in an order I made this weekend. It's supposed it be cutting edge but how can I apply a sample for 3 days!? Great review. The banana boat is my favorite drugstore tanner but I love the Million Dollar Tan spray best because of the next day smell and drying time. On hautelook it's not that bad really. Great review and tips!!

I thought I was the only one that didn't like Vita Liberata. For the price, it was a real disappointment. Great tips I'm trying all of them tonight. Thank you Julie!

i like this comparison/review! my favorite self-tanner ever was a sephora mist-on spray which gave great, deep, very pretty and natural-looking color. Then they replaced it with a less potent spray, so you would have to buy more to get the same color. Now I have tried tarte brazilliance, fake bake, l'oreal lotion and the same banana boat you have. And I've come to the same conclusion — the banana boat in med-dark is pretty affordable and turns out nicely. They do make a lighter version but i like the med-dark better. The tarte and fake bake are more expensive and not necessarily better. The mitt soaked up 3/4 of the tarte brazilliance cream and was a bit of a rip-off, even if the tan was very pretty. and i returned the fake bake. one tip i would add in addition to using a full-length mirror is to get a product with color (or color guard) so you can see where it is going. i understand that there are some that go on clear, which sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
