My name is Lucy, I’m a 25-year-old girl from the Netherlands, and I’m here to offer an alternative approach to beauty.

On this channel I do mostly hair tutorials where I show you how to braid, pin and style your own hair. I recreate hairstyles from movies & tv shows and I regularly come up with my own, which I love to share with you!

I do lifestyle and beauty videos as well, ranging from wearable everyday looks, makeup tips and DIY natural beauty treatments, to fashion lookbooks, vegetarian recipes and more extreme Halloween tutorials.

If you enjoy history, you’ve come to the right place as well. I have a few series based on historical makeup and hairstyling that are my little passion projects.

Enjoy browsing!

Love,
Lucy

You should recreated actresses who changed women's hairstyles.
    Louise Brooks 1920s bob
    Veronica Lake's peek-a-boo
    Farrah Fawcett's feathered
    Jennifer Aniston's "Rachel"

Wow. This reminded me of everything my grandma taught me. Wow. She got married to my grandpa in the 50's. She passed away in 2010 and he passed away in 2012. They were both amazing people. This made me really happy. I know I'm really late but thank you.

I know this is an older video… But I thought I was the only person that had an extreme aversion to cotton. I cannot stand to touch it, it makes my skin hurt and almost makes me nauseous 😷 I cannot even open the new pill bottles with cotton in them. At least I can handle qtips, just barely.

I wash my hair either every day or once every other day, I exercise every single day and I work up a sweat at the gym or I go swimming so I feel gross if I don't shower or wash my hair.

A lot of the 1950s videos say that you should wash your hair every week, or two weeks.

They had products that were much harsher, and would brush there hair frequently to distribute the oil and reduce tangles.

I have very oily hair, and even if I used the harshest product I would have to wash it more than 1 week.

That’s just me talking about my hair.

You're one of those rare women that are not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well. I like watching you because you're not conceited like most youtubers are. Keep being you!
