Can someone explain to me why exactly we need to blend the tip if we are just applying acrylic over it? Can you just efile the acrylic into a smooth shape? Why does it matter what is under it?

I just have to say. I'm not a licensed nail technician yet. but I plan to be. I would give anything to learn (In person) from the best. I enjoy every single one of your videos. thank you for what you do, and don't ever stop 😄

I saw on another video, that they put cuticle oil on the nail for extra smoothness?! Is that correct? I thought you weren't suppose to put oils on the nail because the acrylic won't stick and stay! Thanks for your videos, they rock! 😉

Thank you so much for this video; you have no idea how much this tutorial is worth to me right now. In cosmetology school specializing as a nail technician, blending my tips has been a weakness of mine. Now six months later as I prepare for my state board licensing exams, I've improved but still needed that extra insight. After watching your video and practicing with your advice, my blending is so much better! Thank you so much!

You can, they're called temporary tips, people usually get them if they only want to wear them for a special night because they only last a few days.

What are "pro-impressions" nail tips? Also, in blending my fear is that I will weaken the tip by taking too much off during the blending process which will result in a week extension. Is this so? Also, what are the best kind of blending tips to use, in your opinion? Thanks . Love your videos.
